Privacy Policy

Tarkov-Market.com ("Tarkov-Market", "the Service") is a project I create and maintain alone — ggDiam.

This Privacy Policy explains what information I collect when you use Tarkov-Market and how I use it.

1. Information I Collect

Account Information

When you sign in via Discord OAuth, I receive your Discord user ID, username and avatar to identify your account on Tarkov-Market. I do not have access to your Discord password or messages.

Discord Community Bot

I moderate my Discord community server with my own bot (tm-admin-bot), which runs only on that server. It processes member events (joins and roles) to grant server access and supporter roles. It reads message content only for spam detection: the same message posted across several channels within a minute results in an automatic ban.

Message content is never stored. It is reduced to a short-lived hash kept in memory for 60 seconds. The text that triggered a ban is posted to a private admin-only channel in the same Discord server so the ban can be reviewed and reverted. The only Discord data kept in my database is the user ID and username described above, both stored encrypted.

Payment Information

PRO subscription payments are processed by third-party providers (Patreon and Buy Me a Coffee). I do not store credit card numbers or banking details. I only receive confirmation of payment status.

User-Generated Data

Data you create while using the Service, such as quest progress, loadout configurations and preferences, is stored in my database and associated with your account.

Tarkov Pilot: In-Game Positions

When you use Tarkov Pilot, coordinates from your in-game screenshots are stored anonymously (map, game mode, coordinates and time) to build player heatmaps. Individual positions are never shown to others: only aggregated data is published, and only where enough different players contributed. You can disable this at any time with the "Share anonymous positions" toggle in Pilot settings.

Server Logs

My servers may log your IP address and request information for security and debugging. These logs are not shared with third parties.

2. Cookies

I use cookies for the Service's core functionality:

  • token — An authentication token (JWT) that keeps you logged in.
  • tm_locale — Your selected interface language.
  • map_active_panel — The active panel state on map pages.

I may also set short-lived temporary cookies during authentication and payment flows.

The website is served through Cloudflare CDN, which may set its own cookies, such as __cf_bm, for security and performance. For details, see: Cloudflare's cookie policy

I use Google Analytics for anonymous usage statistics (page views, geography and device type). It may set its own cookies. I do not use advertising trackers.

3. How I Use Your Data

  • To authenticate you and maintain your session.
  • To save your preferences, progress and settings.
  • To process PRO subscription payments through third-party providers.
  • To ensure security and prevent abuse of the Service.

Your data is never sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing or advertising.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a MongoDB database on servers I maintain. Access to the database and servers is restricted to me, the sole developer of Tarkov-Market.

I take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no electronic storage method is 100% secure. I cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Discord — User authentication (OAuth 2.0) and the community server bot.
  • Patreon — Subscription management.
  • Buy Me a Coffee — Subscription management.
  • Google Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics.
  • Cloudflare — CDN, DDoS protection and content delivery.

Each service has its own privacy policy. I encourage you to review them.

6. Your Rights

  • You may delete your account and all associated data by contacting me.
  • You may unlink Discord at any time with the "Disconnect" button on your account page. This immediately deletes your stored Discord user ID and username from my database. Account page

  • You may request a copy of the data I hold about you.
  • You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect functionality.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continuing to use the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
